Hello! My name is Dr. Logan Hagerman, and I am a recent graduate of the Fall 2021 class of Logan College of Chiropractic. During my final two trimesters in chiropractic school, I had the privilege to intern with and get mentored by Dr. Jeffrey O’Guin, so it is very exciting to officially join his practice! My initial interest in the career of manual and conservative therapies arose during my senior year of high school, where I tore the ACL in my knee during a football workout. Through months of physical therapy, I learned to appreciate the doctors helping me rehab from this injury and started to develop an interest in learning about the human body, biomechanics, and how to optimize the recovery process. This lead me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, my home state. Going through this program helped confirm my interest in having a career in the health and wellness field, yet at the same time, it made me realize I wanted to go a step further to help that come to fruition. That is what led me to move to St. Louis in the summer of 2018 to pursue a career in the chiropractic profession.

One quote that resonated with me through school is Thomas Edison, who stated, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will instruct his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and the cure and prevention of disease.” I believe wholeheartedly that exercise is medicine, and I have made it my mission to partner with my patients to motivate, guide, and provide care so they can be the best and healthiest versions of themselves. It is of utmost importance to me to stay up to date with the latest research in exercise, soft tissue therapies, and chiropractic techniques to provide the most valuable and individualized care to my patients.

Outside of working with patients, I am engaged to my fiancée Emily, and our wedding is set for October of 2023. I enjoy staying active through working out, hiking, playing basketball, and golfing. I love going to the movies to watch new releases and like to constantly learn from watching documentaries or reading books on just about any topic. On the weekend, you’ll catch me watching football or exploring STL with Emily. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and, on occasion, love going home to Pennsylvania to do just that! Overall, I love to meet new people and build lasting relationships and am looking forward to all of the future patients I get the privilege and honor of helping.

I have been a practicing chiropractor in St. Louis since 2008. Anatomy, physiology, and natural methods of health and healing have always been fascinating to me. The specific interest in chiropractic care and rehabilitation are the result of managing some of my own back and neck injuries. These were the result of some physically demanding jobs, hiking heavy equipment while serving in the Marine Corps and participating in contact sports. While learning about various treatments and self-management strategies, I became passionate about spine health. I started to realize why the term “backbone” is used to describe the integrity of a structure or system. It is because the spine and pelvis are the foundational support for the entire body. Throughout my own experience, I have found that when my spine is healthy, my body as a whole is healthy. In addition to serving my patients, I also teach physical rehabilitation to the students at Logan College.

In my personal life, I am married and have three amazing children. Maintaining a healthy balance between work, family and personal growth are of utmost importance to me. Some of my interests and hobbies include martial arts, yoga, and playing the guitar. I enjoy learning, reading, and listening to audio books on just about any topic. The one theme that has been constant throughout my life is an idea of optimal health. Not for perfection, but for maintaining the best quality of life possible.

My passion as a chiropractor is to help others in achieving the best quality of life possible as well. It is exciting for me to keep up with the current trends in health and wellness. I enjoy sharing information with my patients and guiding them to lead healthier lives. Likewise, I stay current with the latest in chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release and rehabilitation techniques. I strive to use each therapy in a way that is most beneficial to helping my patients.
